AW Edwards Construction has invited us in providing a polished concrete floor in 5 separate bays areas throughout the building site under the Cahill Express way in Milson’s Point.
On this occasion, we join forces with our friends Roland and Darren from Hamilton Cleaning Services to grind and polish the concrete areas. Due to the fact the existing floor has been laid many years ago and there were many filled cavities and areas had previous floor coverings and adhesive contaminate etc .
During our grinding process, I have found many areas that were patched up with different colour epoxy fillers, and some were laid with different coloured concrete.
All five bay areas were polished up to 400 grit to meet R11 and were sealed with Aquamix Ultrasolv sealer. The clients are very happy with the end results, and I am also amazed how well the floor look after returning a few months later to take some photos.
